Who we are

Future Music Collective operates the website at https://futuremusic.online and the Blockbuild virtual reality workshop distributed on the Meta Horizon Store. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can ask us to delete it.

What data we collect

We collect only what we need to run the site, process purchases, and load the Blockbuild Quest app:

• Account data if you register on the website: name or display name, email address, and a hashed password. We do not store your raw password.
• Purchase data if you buy merch or unlock the browser version of Blockbuild: items, amounts, and fulfillment details. Card numbers are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store full payment-card numbers.
• Contact messages you send through our contact form: name, email, subject, and message body.
• Cookies and similar storage used to keep you logged in, remember a cart, or remember that you unlocked Blockbuild in the browser (bb_unlock).
• Technical logs when you load our pages, including the Blockbuild Quest app: IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, and browser or headset user-agent. These are ordinary web-server logs.
• Advertising data on some website pages (not inside the Quest app): Google AdSense and similar partners may set cookies and collect device identifiers as described in their own policies.

Blockbuild on Meta Quest

The Quest version of Blockbuild is a workshop that loads from our website over HTTPS. Your brick maps and save slots are stored locally on the headset (browser local storage). We do not receive those builds unless you send them to us. The Quest app does not require an account, does not show ads, and does not currently process in-app payments through us. Loading the app still creates the technical logs described above because the files are served from our servers.

How we use data

• To operate, secure, and improve the website and Blockbuild.
• To create and maintain your account if you register.
• To process orders, send receipts, and unlock paid browser content you bought.
• To answer messages you send us.
• To diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use Blockbuild save files for advertising.

Who else sees data

• Hosting and delivery for futuremusic.online (currently Google Cloud Run and related infrastructure).
• Stripe for payment processing on the website.
• Email delivery to receive contact-form messages.
• Meta if you install Blockbuild from the Meta Horizon Store. Meta’s own platform policies and privacy policy apply to your Meta account, headset telemetry, and store purchases.
• Advertising partners on some website pages, as noted above. The Quest app does not include those partners.

How long we keep data

Account and order records are kept while the account is open and for a limited period afterward as needed for accounting, chargebacks, and legal requirements. Server logs are rotated on a routine schedule. Contact messages are kept long enough to reply and follow up. Local Blockbuild saves remain on your device until you clear them or uninstall the app.

How to request deletion of your data

You may request that we delete personal data we have collected or stored about you. To do that:

1. Open https://futuremusic.online/contact.
2. Send a message that includes the email you used with us and the words “delete my data” or “privacy deletion request.”
3. We will confirm and delete account records, contact messages, and other personal data we control, except information we must retain for legal, security, or accounting reasons (for example, a paid invoice).

You can also delete locally stored Blockbuild maps yourself by clearing the app’s site data on the headset or uninstalling Blockbuild. If you have a website account, the same contact request can close the account.

Children

The website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us using the deletion steps above and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site or Blockbuild after an update means you have read the revised policy.
